Willmott, Peter

Bio: (1923-2000) British sociologist. Willmott Peter studied at Ruskin College, Oxford, and lectured at the University of Paris, the University of London, and the University of California. In 1953, he cofounded, with Michael Young, the Institute of Community Studies, a non-profit research institute, and used this institute to conduct his ethnographic and policy research.
